Admission Procedure  
Admission is granted on the basis of age, merit and vacancy. The Admission procedure involves filling in a form and appearing for the interaction. Please note that appearance in the interaction will in any case not assure admission. Granting/Non Granting admission is the discretionary power of the school authorities.

The admission for the Academic Session 2018-19 is open now.

Standard 1
Hanifa School follows the C.B.S.E. board syllabus with classes from I to XII. However new admissions are for Standards I to IX, and XI. The applicant has to appear for Entrance Evaluation for English and Maths based on the CBSE syllabus of the last class passed/appeared by the student.

Parents seeking admissions must furnish the following documents:

• One photocopy of attested Birth Certificate of the student.(in English)
• Details pertaining to Caste, Religion, and Sub Caste.
• Fitness certificate from a Medical Practitioner (M.B.B.S.)
• Original School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate (from the previous School). Students coming from places outside India must bring with them a Withdrawal Letter (Original).
• Original Mark sheet /Report Card of the latest examination the student has appeared for.
• Two Passport sized photographs for Indians and Six photographs for students coming from abroad.

After admission is granted the fees must be paid within specified time limit. Failure of which will end in cancelling the admission.

Payment of fee

1. All fees are to be paid in the School Office on quarterly basis as per the following schedule :

1. Fee will be accepted by cheque only.
2. A late fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged after the due date in each quarter.


Monday to Saturday: 8.30 am to 1.00 pm
(Note: Everyone is expected to collect a receipt for fee payment.
The school will not be responsible for any transaction without a receipt)


One clear calendar month’s notice in writing or a month’s fee in lieu of notice must be given before a child is withdrawn.
Those leaving the school in mid-session must pay the fees for the month last attended.
Transfer certificate will not be issued unless all the dues are cleared.

Promotion Policy

Promotion is mainly based on the cumulative performance of the child, monitored throughout the academic year, as per CBSE norms.

The following points are taken into consideration for a students’ assessment.

• 80% attendance is compulsory at all levels for promotion to the next class.
• Conduct of the student during the particular academic session.
• Neatness, discipline and attitude of the child.
• Participation in School as well outside activities at National and International Level.

Pre Primary to classes I to V

• A non-detention policy is favoured in these classes unless detention at a particular level is advised due to special reasons.

Classes VI to X

• A student must secure a minimum Grade ‘D’ in each subject to get promotion to the next higher class.

Classes XI & XII:

• A student must secure passing marks as per CBSE norms.
• Norms for weightage as laid down by CBSE will be followed.

Promotion rules of the Board concerned would be applicable in accordance with their periodic updation from the concerned Board.
